I graduated from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelors in Sociology and Spanish with a minor in Education. My love for teaching and caring for children started when I was in High School and assisted in a kindergarten classroom. From here I was exposed to different philosophies of teaching styles and the effects of learning. I went on to develop a mentorship program for troubled high schoolers that gave them leadership skills in the outdoors. I also went to Mexico and continued my education by applying different teaching styles and working with local groups to incentivise children to stay in school. I has worked in Waldorf, Montessori, Public and Private schools with all different age groups and love to create a creative environment through play and arts and crafts. It is said that the most important years of life are the first 3. This is a time to nourish, care, play and love our children. My passion is to provide quality care for families so that everyone can enjoy their vacations or provide families with long term care so that everyone can thrive.
