Maritza
A bit about myself: I grew up in Bellingham, Washington, attended college at Western Washington University, and studied music performance. I mostly played with orchestras, performed, and taught violin. I started playing violin at the age of 9, joined my city’s orchestra at the age of 15 and played professionally for 10 years. In my mid 20’s, I started traveling, and visited 8 countries in a span of one year. In 2015 I decided to become vegan, and have been ever since. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, biking, running, camping, playing music, teaching myself new languages, and cooking delicious vegan meals. I have lived in Steamboat for a little over a year, and my goal is to attend Colorado Mountain College to finish my degree.
I have spent many hours teaching violin to children and adults of all ages. I have also enjoyed caring for infants through young teens as a babysitter throughout the years.
Thank you for taking the time to read my bio, and I look forward to meeting you and your family!
