My name is Quinn Bailey, and I am 28 years old. I am originally from Columbus
Georgia. I moved to Steamboat Springs in Winter of 2019 after graduating college. It
was supposed to be for one winter as a snowboard instructor, but I became another
victim of the Yampa Valley Curse. I’ve been in Steamboat ever since.

While in college, I studied Communications and Media Studies. This degree focuses on
human interactions. Why people do or say the things they do and what factors influence
the way we respond. The discipline overlaps with sociology, psychology and
anthropology.

I am currently working seasonally as a server in the Winter and a Raft guide in the
Summer. During the off seasons I like to travel. My hobbies include snowboarding,
rafting, and surfing. I am a native English speaker, and a decent Spanish speaker. I was
a Snowboard instructor for three winters. I mostly taught kids. Their ages ranged from 5-
17. In the Summer, I take children on overnight white-water rafting trips. On these trips
we focus on hydrology, environmental sustainability, and having fun. I have really
enjoyed the time I’ve spent with my students in the outdoors. I love helping them
accomplish goals and being there when it finally “clicks”.

While nannying I enjoy taking kids on outdoor adventurous. I also like having craft
nights and playing games. I'd love to spend time with your children while you enjoy
everything Steamboat has to offer!
